Crosses the AICW at Statute Mile 7.1, south of unlighted can buoy #28, immediately north of the entrance to the Alternate AICW Dismal Swamp Canal Route

65-feet closed vertical clearance
Will not open, year round, Monday through Friday, except holidays between 6:00 and 9:00 AM and from 3:00 to 6:00 pm
VHF Hailing Frequency Channel 13
Special Comment: Due to the unusual closed vertical clearance of 65-feet, most cruising craft will not have to worry with the restrictive schedule for this span
NOTE: 12/12/2018: The bridge is currently under expansion construction for parallel lanes on the south side of the bridge. Changes in the channel layouts are to be expected.
